Toast Cafe in Devon is a well respected and much loved established cafe/restaurant. Food is all prepared on the premises and as well as inhabiting an old building on the high street, full of character – they also have an enchanting garden full of ancient antiques, vines and eclectic structures. You can sit in their courtyard all year round and there is a service “shed” there complete with it’s own coffee machine.

Toast already had a website, but it wasn’t reflecting how the business had developed, it wasn’t responsive and it had no CMS for easy updating of menus. They are planning events over the summer and needed to be able to make speedy updates and to keep it fresh.

They already had excellent branding in place, so the challenge was to carry this design sensibility through to the design of the new website. Creative Wolf ventured down to Devon from Manchester to carry out the new photography and to get a behind the scene feel for what they were doing.
